I don't think he has read the Kelly Blue Book on what the term "Mint" means (if the use it). Does mint mean engine needs rebuilt, seats need redone, and looks as though the top is coming apart at the front seal. But as a bonus it appears you get his families grocery getter to help offset the cost. I am glad I am not the only one that struggles to define the condition of my "mint" LBC 2.8l v6 t5 tranny and no soft top.

"Mint" as in "It has cost me a mint already and I can't afford to spend any more."

More Income Needed Today, perhaps

It didn't say, but is the Ford station wagon also included. He must mean that he will include some mints with the car.

I have been to the Bugatti Classic Hill Climb for a number of years and one of the regulars is John Marks who owns several, including a Type 55 of which only 16 were made and the last time I saw one change hands it was for UKP 8 million, and a one-to-one replica of a Type 59 built on a spare chassis. Mr Marks made his money from the Trebor sweet company (products include Extra Strong Mints). The 55 is my all-time favourite and I had the opportunity to speak to Mr Marks one year. I managed to restrain myself from saying "That must have cost a mint ..."

i just Knew there had to be more to the word "mint"! The fact that I sold a "Mint" 75 for 400 dollars just kills me! Ok, "mint" not running,t op needed replacement and interior was in rouogh shape.....

Guys,
He did qualify his desription later in the ad, saying it was "rare mint". It is indeed rare to see such a car desribed as mint...rare possibly to the point of being unique?
Following this logic I have a rare concours V8 conversion. The fact that it's unfinished, a real mess and in a zillion bits just adds to its rarity within the ranks of concours cars?

By now *all* MGBs are unique ...
