So it equal to possible a little bigger then the ROver V8's so it should fit just fine. |

If interested and in UK ask on Pistonheads. Paul |

I wouldn't say just fine. The conversions I've seen with small block Chevys had issues with distributor clearance (remove heater) and steering (articulated steering shaft) and exhaust was very tight, plus firewall surgery is almost guaranteed. But it can be done. Isn't the LS1 even bulkier than the common small block? Jim |

The LS1 is smaller and lighter than the cast iron block. Difficult with the OVII,III,IV computer system. Engine can be build to 427 ci by changing the liners and crank. or buy one from K-Tech for $25k + Same engine that goes in the Lemmans C5 Corvette. |

NOW THAT IS EXTREME !!!! |

But how much smaller? Certainly not as small as a 215 and steering clearance is very tight on those. Jim |
