Hi Rick, thats a great looking front suspension setup you have there, did you have any problems fitting your 4 link rear suspension from Bill Guzman, I received mine yesterday and looking forward to fitting the kit to my car, it looks very well engineered. Regards, Arnie. |

My Classic Conversions four link is getting installed this coming Wednesday. |

Congrats Rick. I wish I'd have had mine painted black or silver or something... when i got it, the wife wanted the car blue so I had Ted paint the suspension blue... now she's switched to burgandy (which I like better anyway) so I'll be repainting the IFS... since the bushings are pressed in & Ted says they can't be removed w/o destroying them, I'll have to sand/mask/paint w/o taking apart & sand blasting... it's going to be a pain! |

But it's a pain that will go away when it's done. However, with wives.... Wayne |

Pete and I finished the install of Classic Conversions four-link rear suspension on my 1974.5 MGB/GT V8 conversion this afternoon. Only unplanned activity in the install was the re-design of the battery box to give the right upper link full range-of-motion. (This would not be necessary in a chrome-bumper MGB). The only welding involved was for the tabs for the upper link-to-differential mounts. As it sits, the kit lowered the rear of the car by about 2 inches..and there are adjustments that I can make to lower the car even more. (This will wait until the front crossmember is installed) All I need for the rear suspension is a pair of Rusty's rebound straps. ![]() |
