MG MGB GT V8 Factory Originals Technical - Pilot bushing
Anyone know the size this should be? Im using a Buick Skylark crank and an '88 GM BW T5. Inner dia, outer dia, and length would be great. Thanks. |

Hi Jake, I am using the same setup. I just picked up a new pilot bushing at my local auto parts store. Use the stock Buick bushing for 1957-81 V8 engines. Luckily it has the same inner diameter that fits the GM T5 and was only a couple of bucks. I can mic it if you still need dimensions. |

Scott, thanks, I'll look for it. Any part number you can recommend? The local behind-the-counter parts guys are real lowbrows, and I know if I go in there and ask citing just the application, they won't know what to do. |

'Autozone' and 'Advanced Auto Parts' are two local chains that carry this particular brand. It was a two-tone green blister box labeled GM CLUTCH PILOT BUSHING 14650. |

Scott, Thanks a ton, Ill check for it tomorrow. Jake http://www.et.byu.edu/~jmv |

I picked up the pilot bushing today, was easier to get than I thought. I told them '63 Skylark for the application and they had it. 2.99 plus tax. Just FYI. |
