My next question is, anyone know anything about this motor or used it? |

There's a guy out in South LA/Orange county running one of these in an MGB. He used the HO engine, along with the factory PCM, FI with swirl pot, and fabricated a dash to use the stock Old's instruments. IIRC it was out of one of the lighter GM cars, I think Masters had a piccy on the British V8 website a while back. Been a while since I looked. Don't recall what transmission he used |

At the risk of inciting a riot, the Quad 4 is in the same category as the 2.6 Mitsubishi and 2.3/2.6 Isuzu....crap.All 3 have mountains of service bulletins and peculiar problems, not a good sign. The water pump setup alone would be enough to scare the average water buffalo.IMHO,I can't see the point of going to all the trouble of converting to something that will probably be more work than any other conversion and the end result will be lackluster performance and no resale value. It would be different for sure but at what price? |
