MG MGB GT V8 Factory Originals Technical - Question for Dellow Supra experts

I'm doing a conversion using a supra box and the Dellow bell housing. I'm looking for a suitable rubber boot for the clutch fork. The hole it must fill is 63 by 42mm. I've spoken to Jeff (Dellow) up in Sydney and he's "looking into it in the next couple of weeks". Given Jeff's unique sense of time I'm reluctant to wait. Ever the optimist, I'm hopeing that somthing will just slip into place, or at least come close.
Can anyone who's done this conversion give me a steer in the right direction?.
Peter

Peter, don't hold your breath. I asked the same question in 1990 & still haven't got one.It doesn't seem to make any difference that there is a small gap between the clutch lever & the casing. The car was my daily driver for 10 years in all sorts of weather.I haven't had to replace any clutch parts over the years. I still use the car occasionally. FWIW I used a Ford Falcon pressure plate. Barrie E

Barry,
Thanks for the responce.
I guess that a bit of dust isn't going to have much effect however if I do find something or Jeff produces the goods (see above under "optimist") I'll let you know if you like. What did you do about a clutch cover plate? I ended up adapting a Range Rover one however it is a rough old fit.
I bought Jeffs pressure plate along with his bellhousing but since then I've heard that this plate with a three quater inch supra slave is very heavy and no fun in peak hour.
I've been looking at alternative arrangements. If you ever get sick of the work out there is readly availiable a one inch range rover slave (I've made a very simple adapter plate) that with the MGB master should give 77% less effort (19.8mm of travel). It even has UNF thread so I can use a standard MGB hose.

Gents,
I guess all us Aussie converters should hound Dellows at once or go to a rubber company and ask them to make us some rubber boots to suit.

I'm also looking for a suitable clutch plate cover, I think the orginal bell houseing was desgined from a P76 (4.4 Rover V8). A pitty that more of them weren't made I think those covers would be as rare as hens teeths if that is where they come from.

Spriggsie, FWIW, the Ford Falcon clutch press.plate is exactly the same as the P76. Also, I would guess the Chrysler Valiant is the same ,as all 3 cars shared many componants to achieve "local content" tax benefits in their manufacture. Barrie E

I checked with Jeff about the clutch cover and like Clem had assumed that it was a P76. Not so. Jeff had no particular cover in mine when he orrigionaly caste the Bell housing. The Rover one does cover it (just). You have to cut about 2 cm off the bottom and drill some new holes & silicon the old.
I've been thinking about the clutch Boot. If I can't find one (Jeff seems to think that one of the Toyota's may be a possibility, he's looking into it he sez) I might just jam/glue a bit of foam rubber (car washing spong maybe) in there
