MG MGB GT V8 Factory Originals Technical - Rear Brakes
Who can give information/contact for convert rear axle to brake disc? Thanks |

Juergen, Try the archives section under MGB Technical. There are some posts there on disc brakes. Also a company in England (Walden Engineering) makes an independent rear suspension kit for MGB's and may be worth a try also Moss UK. They would probably know of someone making kits. There is a book, think its How to improve the MGB and V8......., look at the MG Owners club site, under accessories, Generaly its not a good book, but for adding rear suspension mods such as the brakes it is very clear and offers options and contacts as well as clear photos. |
Tatty |
Jeurgen, There is another book also by Roger Williams, author of the book mentioned by Tatty, above which is: "How to improve the MGB, MGC and MGB V8. ISBN: 1-901295-76-1 Veloce Publishing PLC. Good luck, Pete, Sydney, Australia. |

Juergen, John Bourke has done this and details should be in V8 info somewhere on this site. There used to be a conversion kit for rear- Cox and Perry have used one in past but difficult to get hold of. Terry Brown is in process of manufacturing kit for SD1 axle which may be adaptable for B axle. Paul |
