MG MGB GT V8 Factory Originals Technical - ST Air Dam
Does anyone know of a source for the special tuning air dam that is of better quality than that offered by Moss. This is for my V8 conversion since I found a Rover 4.0 the other day for free! Can't wait to get started, and I'm sure I'll have alot of questions that will get answered by the obvious wisdom of those who post here. Thanks in advance. -Kent |

Good question,Kent. I personally haven't seen one, but the idea of putting fiberglass up there in that vulnerable spot doesn't thrill me. I'm still stuck on the fantasy of building my own, similar to that used on the old TransAm racers. Cut a hole in the stock valence, and fasten an adjustable lip down there, held by turnbuckles, and see how it works. At least it'd be different. Joe |

Kent, I replied on the MGB Experience, but I got mine off eBay and as I recall it was a Jack Emry (maybe mis-spelled last name) part. No thin glass areas or pinpoint holes in the gelcoat. I think it was around a hundred bucks. Nice quality and fit. Richard |

I got mine from Brit Tek. Excellent quality and great service. ~Dave |

Thanks for the encouragement Kelly, I feel I will need it as I continue to gather parts for this. I got lucky on the engine, I hope. I've not been able to fully check it out yet but it looks OK from the initial inspection. Now for the rest of the list...! If anyone has a website or other contact info on the air dam please pass it along. Thanks. -Kent |
