MG MGB GT V8 Factory Originals Technical - Twenty-Nine New Articles

I’m delighted to announce a brand new issue of "The British V8 Newsletter"!

Check it out! http://www.britishv8.org/British-V8-Current-Issue.htm

You'll find a great range of article topics, including: building an auto body rotisserie, building car dollies, using an oxygen sensor to dial-in ignition timing, carburetor selection and set-up, fuel injection installation and service, and of course our unique, hugely popular "How It Was Done" articles.

You’ll find new information about the “British V8 2007” meet in the “Driver’s Seat” column. There’s also new information about 2008 meet plans. Anyone and everyone who shares enthusiasm for performance-modified British sports cars is invited.

There are very nearly 500 high-quality color photos in this issue and the overall website now has over 3000. We want more! So, last issue we announced a photo contest... There’s still plenty of time to enter! The theme is “People Having Fun With Performance-Modified British Sports Cars”. Robert and Dreama Milks have volunteered to judge. Winners will be announced at the meet in August. PLEASE participate! Here’s more info: http://www.britishv8.org/Articles/Photo-Contest.htm

Please also make a point of reading advertiser messages. Our sponsors are the best! Their support keeps the newsletter FREE and GROWING. Please tell these individuals and companies how VERY COOL they are to support the newsletter. Here's the current list: http://www.britishv8.org/sponsors.htm (Of course if you’d like to advertise OR contribute to our operating budget too, we'd be very grateful.)

We're already working on the next issue. Got an idea for a great article? Some photos? Please consider sharing them. Instructions are here: http://www.britishv8.org/British-V8-How-To-Contribute.htm

I hope you enjoy the new Newsletter!

Thank you for the kind words, guys. I really appreciate it.

I don't know if you noticed, but I also pasted an announcement about the new issue on a "regular" MGB message board and the responses there were great. My favorite was this one: "I've come to a startling realization!!!! Maybe....just maybe.....I'm not a purist after all!!!"

Please help spread the word that the newsletters are free for everyone. Tell a "purist" friend or two to check them out! Also, I don't subscribe to any "news groups" or to any of the Triumph or Austin Healey message boards. If anyone can help spread the word there, it'd be helpful. I figure the more readers we get, the more cool cars we'll get to see and read about.

Curtis

It took me 2 nights to read all the good stuff, which is great. One more evening's entertainment.

I like the format as well as the content. I enjoyed the F.I. article, and was interested in all the info you dug up.

Thanks again for the hard work.
Jim Stuart

Curtus and other contributors,

Thanks for all the nice readings
