Yes, there is a V8 convention this year. Base hotel is the Excel on 28th and Patterson in Grand Rapids, MI. This hotel is directly across the street from the Hilton at which the UML Summer Party Reunion will be held. The dates are August 12-13-14, 2004.

Steve Carrick can be reached at steve.carrick@dickinsonpress.com He is coordinating the event this year. I have not seen much publizity on the event.

I sent Steve an e-mail about the V8 convention almost a week ago, & have never received a reply.

I have some concerns that there will be a convention.

Steve doesn't spend much time on a computer (probably why he gets a lot more done than I do). He will be posting an update here (there WILL be a convention).

jim, plan on making the trip even if the v8 club doesn't get a convention together. john twists summer party is at the hotel across the highway and i am planning on taking my mga v6 so i can attend both functions, twists should be a good time anyway, hope to see you there. jim
